Marketing Assistant


A dynamic and fast growing business are client is one of the UKs largest and reputable within their field. Due to growth they now require an energetic and focused marketing Assistant to join the team.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will be working in a contributor role where you will develop, support and implement the marketing strategy.

Duties will include:

– Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns to customers and clients
– Using a full marketing mix to improve the marketing of products and help in creating a toolbox of marketing support for clients and company sales teams
-Working with agencies or inhouse systems to make sure the business has up to date marketing collateral, including brochures, letters, emails and websites and social media.
– Monitoring ongoing marketing spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.
– Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of customer’s data and create actions to support sales.
– Assisting in the production of ongoing competitor analysis and reporting, with reference to pricing, presentation and promotion.
– Produce weekly and monthly reports to update the business on both sales and marketing activity.
– Create a digital plan for new market opportunities.
– Raise the profile of the company and the brand.
– Maintain regular contact with the customer and clients via email marketing.
– Take the lead in the creation, development, and maintenance of social media strategies.
– Deliver digital training on systems to support clients
– Create and manage online digital platforms, websites and social media.
– Responsible for working with the Sales team to prioritise marketing activity to clients.
– Respond to client enquiries and follow up on actions

What do we want from you?

· A clear understanding of digital-based marketing

· Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative

· Good analytical, planning and organisational skills

· Good graphic design and creative skills with the use of Adobe Creative -desirable

· Marketing qualifications -desirable

· Experience with FCA regulation – desirable

· Word Press website experience -desirable

· Dynamic Excel skills (data extraction, pivot table reports and meaningful data analysis).
