Job Description

Based in modern offices in Macclesfield my client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. From day one you will be made to feel welcome and supported. This is a 12-month contract which may lead to further opportunities within the business.

– Managing your own portfolio of client accounts – producing P & L and ensuring contract terms are reflected

– Processing accruals and prepayments as required each month end and ensuring site balance sheets are accurately stated and fully reconciled each month

– Account analysis and actual to budget variance commentary

– Periodic contract review of terms and comparison to accounting

– Ensuring client invoices are accurate according to P&L information

– Liaise with stakeholders to understand performance and processes, along with providing training

– Providing financial support and assistance to the business where required

– Checking and monitoring site bookwork system for errors

Ideally you will be AAT part qualified along with a good working knowledge of Excel and VAT
